A Climate for Life

Meeting the Global Challenge

A Climate for Life, the multimedia piece produced by MediaStorm, in partnership with Conservation International and the International League of Conservation Photographers was made possible by a generous donation by The Renee and Jeff Harbers Family Foundation. This piece was created as  part of the A Climate for Life Campaign, which consisted of the 16th tome of the CEMEX Conservation Book series and several traveling exhibits, one of which was displayed in the California Academy of Sciences from January to April, 2009. This multimedia piece focuses on the connection between Deforestation and rising temperatures in the poles and high altitude regions. It features James Balog, Photographer, Geomorphologist and Founder of Extreme Ice Survey (EIS), Chris Linder photographer and Oceanographer, Paul Nicklen photographer and Marine Biologist, Cristina Mittermeier- photographer, Marine Biologist and President of the ILCP, Russell Mittermeier - Primatologist and President of Conservation International, and Tom Freidman - Three time Pulitzer Prize Winning, Author/Columnist from The New York Times.
